We Are The Fort Wayne Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee
The Fort Wayne Electrical JATC trains students to become either an Inside Wireman Electrician or a Telecommunication Installer-Technician.
We are a local training center that trains apprentices in the electrical construction industry, following the electrical training ALLIANCE‘s education standards to meet the competitive challenges of today’s global market economy.
In addition to receiving skill training on the job, each apprentice is provided with trade-related classroom training that produces competency and pride that lead to true craftsmanship.
Each apprentice, in conjunction with Ivy Tech Community College, who completes additional classes along with the National Curriculum, will receive an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Apprenticeship Technology.
The JATC is committed to upholding the values of honesty, quality, and reliability. Our program is built on transparency and a dedication to excellence in every aspect of the electrical trade.
Trust, respect, and dedication are the core values that guide our work. We aim to foster lasting relationships within the industry by promoting a culture of excellence and outstanding service.
To establish a trusted pathway into the electrical trade—recognized for excellence, dependability, and a commitment to improving the safety and quality of every project we serve.
